We are delighted to welcome you to Chisseaux, a charming village located just about 2 km from Chenonceaux. Formerly a winemaker's house, our home has been renovated in a simple and authentic fashion.
Located 100 meters from the Cher River, our home is indeed the ideal stopover for cyclists travelling along the "Coeur de France à Vélo" or the "Loire à Vélo" ( alternative itinerary passing through the Château de Chenonceau).
Needless to say, guests without bikes are also warmly welcome !

WHERE TO GO AND WHAT TO DO
Heart of the Loire Valley
A few pedal turns (i.e. approximately 2 km) along the banks of the Cher River will lead you to the superb Château de Chenonceau with its famous arches spanning the river.
Amboise is only 15km away : visit the flamboyant royal palace and the elegant Clos Luce, where Leonardo da Vinci spent the last few years of his life.
Chisseaux is an hour’s drive from a wide array of stunning châteaux : Chaumont, Villandry, Chambord, Cheverny, Azay-le-Rideau, Loches ...
Zoo parc de Beauval
Less than a 30 minute drive from our home, the « Zoo parc », spread on 100 acres, is ranked one of the four most beautiful zoos in the world !
Amboise and Loches markets
Don’t miss the Amboise market on Sunday mornings, one of the biggest in the Touraine region. The Loches market (held on Wednesday and Saturday mornings) is also well worth a visit.
Nothing beats a trip to the market to discover the delicious produce grown in the Loire Valley.
On the banks of the Cher River
Boasting direct pier access to the Château de Chenonceau as well as unique views of "le Moulin fort" overlooking the river, the banks of the Cher River in Chisseaux are widely considered to be the most beautiful in Touraine !
